Booking terms and conditions

Privately insured patients

Dr Arnold accepts many private insurance providers but please do check with your insurer that your policy covers all the costs of your proposed appointment.

  • Please provide a copy of your insurance membership details including the expiry date and policy number.

  • Please also provide an authorisation number for each appointment or treatment episode.

  • You will be liable for all costs that your insurer does not pay in relation to your appointment and treatment received.

Unfortunately Dr Arnold no longer accepts BUPA patients as they do not authorise sufficient funds to cover the consultation. Dr Arnold welcomes AVIVA and AXA patients at her clinics at The Manor Hospital only.

General booking terms and conditions

By making an appointment with Dr Stephanie Arnold, you agree to the following booking terms and conditions:

  • You agree to pay Dr Stephanie Arnold for the services and material relating to any treatment as a private patient, including where (if applicable) medical insurance proves not to cover a specific course of treatment.

  • You understand that payment is due on receipt of the consultant’s invoice and that if you do not pay an invoice on time, you may be charged interest and/or late payment fees, and Dr Arnold could pass the matter on to a collection agency who could charge you additional fees.

  • A deposit of £50.00 is taken upon booking. This deposit will be deducted from your invoice at the time of payment.

    • For patients with health insurance, your deposit will be refunded when their remittance is received, or used against any co-payments you may need to make.

    • Deposits will be refunded according to the rescheduling or cancellation rules outlined below.

  • You understand that at least 48 hours' notice is required if you wish to reschedule or cancel your appointment or procedure without charge.

    • For appointments on a Tuesday, we must receive notification before 11am on the preceding Friday to cancel your appointment or procedure without charge.

    • For cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or if you do not attend your appointment, a cancellation fee of 100% of the appointment charge at the self-pay rate will be charged.

    • For cancellations with more than 24 hours notice but less than 48 hours notice, a cancellation fee of 50% of the appointment charge at the self-pay rate will be charged.

    • Please note that most insurers will not cover a cancellation fee so you will be invoiced directly.
